וַיַּ֨עַשׂ ^H6213 הַיָּשָׁ֜ר ^H3477 בְּעֵינֵ֣י ^H5869 יְהוָ֗ה ^H3068 כְּכֹ֤ל ^H3605 אֲשֶׁר־^H834עָשָׂה֙ ^H6213 עֻזִּיָּ֣הוּ ^H5818 אָבִ֔יו ^H1 רַ֕ק ^H7535 לֹא־^H3808בָ֖א ^H935 אֶל־^H413הֵיכַ֣ל ^H1964 יְהוָ֑ה ^H3068 וְע֥וֹד ^H5750 הָעָ֖ם ^H5971 מַשְׁחִיתִֽים׃ ^H7843	2	And he did^H6213 right^H3477 in the sight^H5869 of the Lord,^H3068 according to all^H3605 that his father Uzziah^H1 had done;^H5818 however^H6213 he did not enter^H7534 the temple^H935 of the Lord.^H1964 But the people^H3068 continued^H5971 acting^H5750 corruptly.^H7843	καὶ^G2532 ἐποίησεν^G4160 τὸ^G3588 εὐθὲς ἐνώπιον^G1799 κυρίου^G2962 κατὰ^G2596 πάντα,^G3956 ὅσα^G3745 ἐποίησεν^G4160 Οζιας^G3604 ὁ^G3588 πατὴρ^G3962 αὐτοῦ,^G846 ἀλλ᾽^G235 οὐκ^G3364 εἰσῆλθεν^G1525 εἰς^G1519 τὸν^G3588 ναὸν^G3485 κυρίου,^G2962 καὶ^G2532 ἔτι^G2089 ὁ^G3588 λαὸς^G2992 κατεφθείρετο.^G2704
ה֗וּא ^H1931 בָּנָ֛ה ^H1129 אֶת־^H853שַׁ֥עַר ^H8179 בֵּית־^H1004יְהוָ֖ה ^H3068 הָעֶלְי֑וֹן ^H5945 וּבְחוֹמַ֥ת ^H2346 הָעֹ֛פֶל ^H6077 בָּנָ֖ה ^H1129 לָרֹֽב׃ ^H7230	3	He built^H1129 the upper^H5945 gate^H8179 of the house^H1004 of the Lord,^H3068 and he built^H1129 extensively^H7230 the wall^H2346 of Ophel.^H6077	αὐτὸς^G846 ᾠκοδόμησεν^G3618 τὴν^G3588 πύλην^G4439 οἴκου^G3624 κυρίου^G2962 τὴν^G3588 ὑψηλὴν^G5308 καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 τείχει^G5038 τοῦ^G3588 Οφλα ᾠκοδόμησεν^G3618 πολλά·^G4183
וְעָרִ֥ים ^H5892 בָּנָ֖ה ^H1129 בְּהַר־^H2022יְהוּדָ֑ה ^H3063 וּבֶחֳרָשִׁ֣ים ^H2793 בָּנָ֔ה ^H1129 בִּֽירָנִיּ֖וֹת ^H1003 וּמִגְדָּלִֽים׃ ^H4026	4	Moreover, he built^H1129 cities^H5892 in the hill^H2022 country^H2022 of Judah,^H3063 and he built^H1129 fortresses^H1003 and towers^H4026 on the wooded^H2793 [hills.]	καὶ^G2532 πόλεις^G4172 ᾠκοδόμησεν^G3618 ἐν^G1722 ὄρει^G3735 Ιουδα^G2448 καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 τοῖς^G3588 δρυμοῖς καὶ^G2532 οἰκήσεις^G3611 καὶ^G2532 πύργους.^G4444
וְ֠הוּא ^H1931 נִלְחַ֞ם ^H3898 עִם־^H5973מֶ֣לֶךְ ^H4428 בְּנֵי־^H1121עַמּוֹן֮ ^H5983 וַיֶּחֱזַ֣ק ^H2388 עֲלֵיהֶם֒ ^H5921 וַיִּתְּנוּ־^H5414ל֨וֹ בְנֵֽי־^H1121עַמּ֜וֹן ^H5983 בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה ^H8141 הַהִ֗יא ^H1931 מֵאָה֙ ^H3967 כִּכַּר־^H3603כֶּ֔סֶף ^H3701 וַעֲשֶׂ֨רֶת ^H6235 אֲלָפִ֤ים ^H505 כֹּרִים֙ ^H3734 חִטִּ֔ים ^H2406 וּשְׂעוֹרִ֖ים ^H8184 עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת ^H6235 אֲלָפִ֑ים ^H505 זֹ֗את ^H2063 הֵשִׁ֤יבוּ ^H7725 לוֹ֙ בְּנֵ֣י ^H1121 עַמּ֔וֹן ^H5983 ס וּבַשָּׁנָ֥ה ^H8141 הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית ^H8145 וְהַשְּׁלִשִֽׁית׃ ^H7992	5	He fought^H3898 also with the king^H4428 of the Ammonites^H1121 ^H5983 and prevailed^H2388 over^H5921 them so that the Ammonites^H1121 ^H5983 gave^H5414 him during that year^H8141 one hundred^H3967 talents^H3603 of silver,^H3701 ten^H6235 thousand^H505 kors^H3734 of wheat^H2406 and ten^H6235 thousand^H505 of barley.^H8184 The Ammonites^H1121 ^H5983 also paid^H7725 him this^H2088 [amount] in the second^H8145 and in the third^H7992 year.^H8141	αὐτὸς^G846 ἐμαχέσατο^G3164 πρὸς^G4314 βασιλέα^G935 υἱῶν^G5207 Αμμων καὶ^G2532 κατίσχυσεν^G2729 ἐπ᾽^G1909 αὐτόν·^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἐδίδουν^G1325 αὐτῷ^G846 οἱ^G3588 υἱοὶ^G5207 Αμμων κατ᾽^G2596 ἐνιαυτὸν^G1763 ἑκατὸν^G1540 τάλαντα^G5007 ἀργυρίου^G694 καὶ^G2532 δέκα^G1176 χιλιάδας^G5505 κόρων^G2884 πυροῦ^G4448 καὶ^G2532 κριθῶν^G2915 δέκα^G1176 χιλιάδας·^G5505 ταῦτα^G3778 ἔφερεν^G5342 αὐτῷ^G846 βασιλεὺς^G935 Αμμων κατ᾽^G2596 ἐνιαυτὸν^G1763 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 πρώτῳ^G4413 ἔτει^G2094 καὶ^G2532 τῷ^G3588 δευτέρῳ^G1208 καὶ^G2532 τῷ^G3588 τρίτῳ.^G5154
וַיִּתְחַזֵּ֖ק ^H2388 יוֹתָ֑ם ^H3147 כִּ֚י ^H3588 הֵכִ֣ין ^H3559 דְּרָכָ֔יו ^H1870 לִפְנֵ֖י ^H6440 יְהוָ֥ה ^H3069 אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ ^H430	6	So Jotham^H3147 became^H2388 mighty^H2388 because^H3588 he ordered^H3559 his ways^H1870 before^H6440 the Lord^H3068 his God.^H430	καὶ^G2532 κατίσχυσεν^G2729 Ιωαθαμ,^G2488 ὅτι^G3754 ἡτοίμασεν^G2090 τὰς^G3588 ὁδοὺς^G3598 αὐτοῦ^G846 ἔναντι^G1725 κυρίου^G2962 θεοῦ^G2316 αὐτοῦ.^G846

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב ^H7901 יוֹתָם֙ ^H3147 עִם־^H5973אֲבֹתָ֔יו ^H1 וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ ^H6912 אֹת֖וֹ ^H853 בְּעִ֣יר ^H5892 דָּוִ֑יד ^H1732 וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ ^H4427 אָחָ֥ז ^H271 בְּנ֖וֹ ^H1121 תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ ^H8478 פ	9	And Jotham^H3147 slept^H7901 with his fathers, and they buried^H1 him in the city^H6912 of David;^H5892 and Ahaz^H1732 his son^H271 became^H1121 king^H4427 in his place.^H4427	καὶ^G2532 ἐκοιμήθη^G2837 Ιωαθαμ^G2488 μετὰ^G3326 τῶν^G3588 πατέρων^G3962 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἐτάφη^G2290 ἐν^G1722 πόλει^G4172 Δαυιδ,^G1138 καὶ^G2532 ἐβασίλευσεν^G936 Αχαζ^G881 υἱὸς^G5207 αὐτοῦ^G846 ἀντ᾽^G473 αὐτοῦ.^G846
