וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח ^H7971 יִצְחָק֙ ^H3327 אֶֽת־^H853יַעֲקֹ֔ב ^H3290 וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ ^H1980 פַּדֶּ֣נָֽה אֲרָ֑ם ^H6307 אֶל־^H413לָבָ֤ן ^H3837 בֶּן־^H1121בְּתוּאֵל֙ ^H1328 הָֽאֲרַמִּ֔י ^H761 אֲחִ֣י ^H251 רִבְקָ֔ה ^H7259 אֵ֥ם ^H517 יַעֲקֹ֖ב ^H3290 וְעֵשָֽׂו׃ ^H6215	5	Then Isaac^H3327 sent^H7971 Jacob^H3290 away,^H7971 and he went^H1980 to Paddan-aram to Laban,^H3837 son^H1121 of Bethuel^H1328 the Aramean,^H761 the brother^H251 of Rebekah,^H7259 the mother^H517 of Jacob^H3290 and Esau.^H6215	καὶ^G2532 ἀπέστειλεν^G649 Ισαακ^G2464 τὸν^G3588 Ιακωβ,^G2384 καὶ^G2532 ἐπορεύθη^G4198 εἰς^G1519 τὴν^G3588 Μεσοποταμίαν^G3318 πρὸς^G4314 Λαβαν^G0 τὸν^G3588 υἱὸν^G5207 Βαθουηλ τοῦ^G3588 Σύρου^G4948 ἀδελφὸν^G80 δὲ^G1161 Ρεβεκκας τῆς^G3588 μητρὸς^G3384 Ιακωβ^G2384 καὶ^G2532 Ησαυ.^G2269

וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע ^H8085 יַעֲקֹ֔ב ^H3290 אֶל־^H413אָבִ֖יו ^H1 וְאֶל־^H413אִמּ֑וֹ ^H517 וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ ^H1980 פַּדֶּ֥נָֽה אֲרָֽם׃ ^H6307	7	and that Jacob^H3290 had obeyed^H8085 his father and his mother^H1 and had gone^H517 to Paddan-aram.	καὶ^G2532 ἤκουσεν^G191 Ιακωβ^G2384 τοῦ^G3588 πατρὸς^G3962 καὶ^G2532 τῆς^G3588 μητρὸς^G3384 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἐπορεύθη^G4198 εἰς^G1519 τὴν^G3588 Μεσοποταμίαν^G3318 Συρίας,^G4947
וַיַּ֣רְא ^H7200 עֵשָׂ֔ו ^H6215 כִּ֥י ^H3588 רָע֖וֹת ^H7451 בְּנ֣וֹת ^H1323 כְּנָ֑עַן ^H3667 בְּעֵינֵ֖י ^H5869 יִצְחָ֥ק ^H3327 אָבִֽיו׃ ^H1	8	So Esau^H6215 saw^H7200 that the daughters^H1323 of Canaan^H3667 displeased^H7451 his father Isaac;^H1	καὶ^G2532 εἶδεν^G3708 Ησαυ^G2269 ὅτι^G3754 πονηραί^G4190 εἰσιν^G1510 αἱ^G3588 θυγατέρες^G2364 Χανααν^G5477 ἐναντίον^G1726 Ισαακ^G2464 τοῦ^G3588 πατρὸς^G3962 αὐτοῦ,^G846
וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ ^H1980 עֵשָׂ֖ו ^H6215 אֶל־^H413יִשְׁמָעֵ֑אל ^H3458 וַיִּקַּ֡ח ^H3947 אֶֽת־^H853מָחֲלַ֣ת ^H4258 ׀ בַּת־^H1323יִשְׁמָעֵ֨אל ^H3458 בֶּן־^H1121אַבְרָהָ֜ם ^H85 אֲח֧וֹת ^H269 נְבָי֛וֹת ^H5032 עַל־^H5921נָשָׁ֖יו ^H802 ל֥וֹ לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ ^H802 ס	9	and Esau^H6215 went^H1980 to Ishmael,^H3458 and married,^H3947 ^H802 besides^H5921 the wives^H802 that he had, Mahalath^H4258 the daughter^H1323 of Ishmael,^H3458 Abraham's son,^H1121 the sister^H269 of Nebaioth.^H5032	καὶ^G2532 ἐπορεύθη^G4198 Ησαυ^G2269 πρὸς^G4314 Ισμαηλ καὶ^G2532 ἔλαβεν^G2983 τὴν^G3588 Μαελεθ θυγατέρα^G2364 Ισμαηλ τοῦ^G3588 υἱοῦ^G5207 Αβρααμ^G11 ἀδελφὴν^G79 Ναβαιωθ πρὸς^G4314 ταῖς^G3588 γυναιξὶν^G1135 αὐτοῦ^G846 γυναῖκα.^G1135
וַיֵּצֵ֥א ^H3318 יַעֲקֹ֖ב ^H3290 מִבְּאֵ֣ר שָׁ֑בַע ^H884 וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ ^H1980 חָרָֽנָה׃ ^H2771	10	Then Jacob^H3290 departed^H3318 from Beersheba^H884 and went^H1980 toward Haran.^H2771	Καὶ^G2532 ἐξῆλθεν^G1831 Ιακωβ^G2384 ἀπὸ^G575 τοῦ^G3588 φρέατος^G5421 τοῦ^G3588 ὅρκου^G3727 καὶ^G2532 ἐπορεύθη^G4198 εἰς^G1519 Χαρραν.^G5488
וַיִּפְגַּ֨ע ^H6293 בַּמָּק֜וֹם ^H4725 וַיָּ֤לֶן ^H3885 שָׁם֙ ^H8033 כִּי־^H3588בָ֣א ^H935 הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ ^H8121 וַיִּקַּח֙ ^H3947 מֵאַבְנֵ֣י ^H68 הַמָּק֔וֹם ^H4725 וַיָּ֖שֶׂם ^H7760 מְרַֽאֲשֹׁתָ֑יו ^H4763 וַיִּשְׁכַּ֖ב ^H7901 בַּמָּק֥וֹם ^H4725 הַהֽוּא׃ ^H1931	11	And he came^H6293 to a certain place^H4725 and spent^H3885 the night^H3885 there,^H8033 because^H3588 the sun^H8121 had set;^H935 and he took^H3947 one of the stones^H68 of the place^H4725 and put^H7760 it under his head,^H4763 and lay^H7901 down^H7901 in that place.^H4725	καὶ^G2532 ἀπήντησεν^G528 τόπῳ^G5117 καὶ^G2532 ἐκοιμήθη^G2837 ἐκεῖ·^G1563 ἔδυ^G1417 γὰρ^G1063 ὁ^G3588 ἥλιος·^G2246 καὶ^G2532 ἔλαβεν^G2983 ἀπὸ^G575 τῶν^G3588 λίθων^G3037 τοῦ^G3588 τόπου^G5117 καὶ^G2532 ἔθηκεν^G5087 πρὸς^G4314 κεφαλῆς^G2776 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἐκοιμήθη^G2837 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 τόπῳ^G5117 ἐκείνῳ.^G1565
וַֽיַּחֲלֹ֗ם ^H2492 וְהִנֵּ֤ה ^H2009 סֻלָּם֙ ^H5551 מֻצָּ֣ב ^H5324 אַ֔רְצָה ^H776 וְרֹאשׁ֖וֹ ^H7218 מַגִּ֣יעַ ^H5060 הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָה ^H8064 וְהִנֵּה֙ ^H2009 מַלְאֲכֵ֣י ^H4397 אֱלֹהִ֔ים ^H430 עֹלִ֥ים ^H5927 וְיֹרְדִ֖ים ^H3381 בּֽוֹ׃	12	And he had^H2492 a dream,^H2492 and behold,^H2009 a ladder^H5551 was set^H5324 on the earth^H776 with its top^H7218 reaching^H5060 to heaven;^H8064 and behold,^H2009 the angels^H4397 of God^H430 were ascending^H5927 and descending^H3381 on it.	καὶ^G2532 ἐνυπνιάσθη,^G1797 καὶ^G2532 ἰδοὺ^G2400 κλίμαξ ἐστηριγμένη^G4741 ἐν^G1722 τῇ^G3588 γῇ,^G1065 ἧς^G3739 ἡ^G3588 κεφαλὴ^G2776 ἀφικνεῖτο^G864 εἰς^G1519 τὸν^G3588 οὐρανόν,^G3772 καὶ^G2532 οἱ^G3588 ἄγγελοι^G32 τοῦ^G3588 θεοῦ^G2316 ἀνέβαινον^G305 καὶ^G2532 κατέβαινον^G2597 ἐπ᾽^G1909 αὐτῆς.^G846
וְהִנֵּ֨ה ^H2009 יְהוָ֜ה ^H3068 נִצָּ֣ב ^H5324 עָלָיו֮ ^H5921 וַיֹּאמַר֒ ^H559 אֲנִ֣י ^H589 יְהוָ֗ה ^H3068 אֱלֹהֵי֙ ^H430 אַבְרָהָ֣ם ^H85 אָבִ֔יךָ ^H1 וֵאלֹהֵ֖י ^H430 יִצְחָ֑ק ^H3327 הָאָ֗רֶץ ^H776 אֲשֶׁ֤ר ^H834 אַתָּה֙ ^H859 שֹׁכֵ֣ב ^H7901 עָלֶ֔יהָ ^H5921 לְךָ֥ אֶתְּנֶ֖נָּה ^H5414 וּלְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ ^H2233	13	And behold,^H2009 the Lord^H3068 stood^H5324 above^H5921 it and said,^H559 "I am the Lord,^H3068 the God^H430 of your father Abraham^H1 and the God^H85 of Isaac;^H430 the land^H3327 on which^H776 you lie,^H834 I will give^H7901 it to you and to your descendants.^H5414	ὁ^G3588 δὲ^G1161 κύριος^G2962 ἐπεστήρικτο^G1991 ἐπ᾽^G1909 αὐτῆς^G846 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ἐγὼ^G1473 κύριος^G2962 ὁ^G3588 θεὸς^G2316 Αβρααμ^G11 τοῦ^G3588 πατρός^G3962 σου^G4771 καὶ^G2532 ὁ^G3588 θεὸς^G2316 Ισαακ·^G2464 μὴ^G3165 φοβοῦ·^G5399 ἡ^G3588 γῆ,^G1065 ἐφ᾽^G1909 ἧς^G3739 σὺ^G4771 καθεύδεις^G2518 ἐπ᾽^G1909 αὐτῆς,^G846 σοὶ^G4771 δώσω^G1325 αὐτὴν^G846 καὶ^G2532 τῷ^G3588 σπέρματί^G4690 σου.^G4771
וְהָיָ֤ה ^H1961 זַרְעֲךָ֙ ^H2233 כַּעֲפַ֣ר ^H6083 הָאָ֔רֶץ ^H776 וּפָרַצְתָּ֛ ^H6555 יָ֥מָּה ^H3220 וָקֵ֖דְמָה ^H6924 וְצָפֹ֣נָה ^H6828 וָנֶ֑גְבָּה ^H5045 וְנִבְרֲכ֥וּ ^H1288 בְךָ֛ כָּל־^H3605מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת ^H4940 הָאֲדָמָ֖ה ^H127 וּבְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ ^H2233	14	"Your descendants^H2233 shall also be like the dust^H6083 of the earth,^H776 and you shall spread^H6555 out to the west^H3220 and to the east^H9506 and to the north^H6828 and to the south;^H5045 and in you and in your descendants^H2233 shall all^H3605 the families^H4940 of the earth^H127 be blessed.^H1288	καὶ^G2532 ἔσται^G1510 τὸ^G3588 σπέρμα^G4690 σου^G4771 ὡς^G3739 ἡ^G3588 ἄμμος^G285 τῆς^G3588 γῆς^G1065 καὶ^G2532 πλατυνθήσεται^G4115 ἐπὶ^G1909 θάλασσαν^G2281 καὶ^G2532 ἐπὶ^G1909 λίβα^G3047 καὶ^G2532 ἐπὶ^G1909 βορρᾶν^G1005 καὶ^G2532 ἐπ᾽^G1909 ἀνατολάς,^G395 καὶ^G2532 ἐνευλογηθήσονται^G1757 ἐν^G1722 σοὶ^G4771 πᾶσαι^G3956 αἱ^G3588 φυλαὶ^G5443 τῆς^G3588 γῆς^G1065 καὶ^G2532 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 σπέρματί^G4690 σου.^G4771
וְהִנֵּ֨ה ^H2009 אָנֹכִ֜י ^H595 עִמָּ֗ךְ ^H5973 וּשְׁמַרְתִּ֙יךָ֙ ^H8104 בְּכֹ֣ל ^H3605 אֲשֶׁר־^H834תֵּלֵ֔ךְ ^H1980 וַהֲשִׁ֣בֹתִ֔יךָ ^H7725 אֶל־^H413הָאֲדָמָ֖ה ^H127 הַזֹּ֑את ^H2063 כִּ֚י ^H3588 לֹ֣א ^H3808 אֶֽעֱזָבְךָ֔ ^H5800 עַ֚ד ^H5704 אֲשֶׁ֣ר ^H834 אִם־^H518עָשִׂ֔יתִי ^H6213 אֵ֥ת ^H853 אֲשֶׁר־^H834דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי ^H1696 לָֽךְ׃	15	"And behold,^H2009 I am with you, and will keep^H8104 you wherever^H3605 ^H834 you go,^H1980 and will bring^H7725 you back^H7725 to this^H2088 land;^H127 for I will not leave^H5800 you until^H5704 ^H834 I have done^H6213 what^H834 I have promised^H1696 you."	καὶ^G2532 ἰδοὺ^G2400 ἐγὼ^G1473 μετὰ^G3326 σοῦ^G4771 διαφυλάσσων^G1314 σε^G4771 ἐν^G1722 τῇ^G3588 ὁδῷ^G3598 πάσῃ,^G3956 οὗ^G3364 ἐὰν^G1437 πορευθῇς,^G4198 καὶ^G2532 ἀποστρέψω^G654 σε^G4771 εἰς^G1519 τὴν^G3588 γῆν^G1065 ταύτην,^G3778 ὅτι^G3754 οὐ^G3364 μή^G3165 σε^G4771 ἐγκαταλίπω^G1459 ἕως^G2193 τοῦ^G3588 ποιῆσαί^G4160 με^G1473 πάντα,^G3956 ὅσα^G3745 ἐλάλησά^G2980 σοι.^G4771
וַיִּיקַ֣ץ ^H3364 יַעֲקֹב֮ ^H3290 מִשְּׁנָתוֹ֒ ^H8142 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר ^H559 אָכֵן֙ ^H403 יֵ֣שׁ ^H3426 יְהוָ֔ה ^H3068 בַּמָּק֖וֹם ^H4725 הַזֶּ֑ה ^H2088 וְאָנֹכִ֖י ^H595 לֹ֥א ^H3808 יָדָֽעְתִּי׃ ^H3045	16	Then Jacob^H3290 awoke^H3364 from his sleep^H8142 and said,^H559 "Surely^H403 the Lord^H3068 is in this^H2088 place,^H4725 and I did not know^H3045 it."	καὶ^G2532 ἐξηγέρθη^G1825 Ιακωβ^G2384 ἀπὸ^G575 τοῦ^G3588 ὕπνου^G5258 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 ὅτι^G3754 Ἔστιν^G1510 κύριος^G2962 ἐν^G1722 τῷ^G3588 τόπῳ^G5117 τούτῳ,^G3778 ἐγὼ^G1473 δὲ^G1161 οὐκ^G3364 ᾔδειν.^G1492
וַיִּירָא֙ ^H3372 וַיֹּאמַ֔ר ^H559 מַה־^H4100נּוֹרָ֖א ^H3372 הַמָּק֣וֹם ^H4725 הַזֶּ֑ה ^H2088 אֵ֣ין ^H369 זֶ֗ה ^H2088 כִּ֚י ^H3588 אִם־^H518בֵּ֣ית ^H1004 אֱלֹהִ֔ים ^H430 וְזֶ֖ה ^H2088 שַׁ֥עַר ^H8179 הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ ^H8064	17	And he was afraid^H3372 and said,^H559 "How^H4100 awesome^H3372 is this^H2088 place!^H4725 This^H2088 is none^H369 other^H369 than^H3588 ^H518 the house^H1004 of God,^H430 and this^H2088 is the gate^H8179 of heaven.^H8064"	καὶ^G2532 ἐφοβήθη^G5399 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ὡς^G3739 φοβερὸς^G5398 ὁ^G3588 τόπος^G5117 οὗτος·^G3778 οὐκ^G3364 ἔστιν^G1510 τοῦτο^G3778 ἀλλ᾽^G235 ἢ^G2228 οἶκος^G3624 θεοῦ,^G2316 καὶ^G2532 αὕτη^G3778 ἡ^G3588 πύλη^G4439 τοῦ^G3588 οὐρανοῦ.^G3772

וַיִּקְרָ֛א ^H7121 אֶת־^H853שֵֽׁם־^H8034הַמָּק֥וֹם ^H4725 הַה֖וּא ^H1931 בֵּֽית־אֵ֑ל ^H1008 וְאוּלָ֛ם ^H199 ל֥וּז ^H3870 שֵׁם־^H8034הָעִ֖יר ^H5892 לָרִאשֹׁנָֽה׃ ^H7223	19	And he called^H7121 the name^H8034 of that place^H4725 Bethel;^H1008 however,^H199 previously^H7223 the name^H8034 of the city^H5892 had been Luz.^H3870	καὶ^G2532 ἐκάλεσεν^G2564 Ιακωβ^G2384 τὸ^G3588 ὄνομα^G3686 τοῦ^G3588 τόπου^G5117 ἐκείνου^G1565 Οἶκος^G3624 θεοῦ·^G2316 καὶ^G2532 Ουλαμλους ἦν^G1510 ὄνομα^G3686 τῇ^G3588 πόλει^G4172 τὸ^G3588 πρότερον.^G4387

וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י ^H7725 בְשָׁל֖וֹם ^H7965 אֶל־^H413בֵּ֣ית ^H1004 אָבִ֑י ^H1 וְהָיָ֧ה ^H1961 יְהוָ֛ה ^H3068 לִ֖י לֵאלֹהִֽים׃ ^H430	21	and I return^H7725 to my father's house^H1004 in safety,^H7965 then the Lord^H3068 will be my God.^H430	καὶ^G2532 ἀποστρέψῃ^G654 με^G1473 μετὰ^G3326 σωτηρίας^G4991 εἰς^G1519 τὸν^G3588 οἶκον^G3624 τοῦ^G3588 πατρός^G3962 μου,^G1473 καὶ^G2532 ἔσται^G1510 μοι^G1473 κύριος^G2962 εἰς^G1519 θεόν,^G2316
וְהָאֶ֣בֶן ^H68 הַזֹּ֗את ^H2063 אֲשֶׁר־^H834שַׂ֙מְתִּי֙ ^H7760 מַצֵּבָ֔ה ^H4676 יִהְיֶ֖ה ^H1961 בֵּ֣ית ^H1004 אֱלֹהִ֑ים ^H430 וְכֹל֙ ^H3605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר ^H834 תִּתֶּן־^H5414לִ֔י עַשֵּׂ֖ר ^H6237 אֲעַשְּׂרֶ֥נּוּ ^H6237 לָֽךְ׃	22	"And this^H2088 stone,^H68 which^H834 I have set^H7760 up as a pillar,^H4676 will be God's house;^H1004 and of all^H3605 that Thou dost give^H5414 me I will surely^H6237 give^H6237 a tenth^H6237 to Thee."	καὶ^G2532 ὁ^G3588 λίθος^G3037 οὗτος,^G3778 ὃν^G3739 ἔστησα^G2476 στήλην, ἔσται^G1510 μοι^G1473 οἶκος^G3624 θεοῦ,^G2316 καὶ^G2532 πάντων,^G3956 ὧν^G3739 ἐάν^G1437 μοι^G1473 δῷς,^G1325 δεκάτην^G1182 ἀποδεκατώσω^G586 αὐτά^G846 σοι.^G4771
