τοσαυτα ^G5118 επαθετε ^G3958 ^G5627 εικη ^G1500 ειγε ^G1489 και ^G2532 εικη ^G1500	4	Did you suffer^G3958 so^G5118 many^G5118 things^G5118 in vain^G1500 – if^G1487 indeed^G1065 ^G2532 it was in vain^G1500?
ο ^G3588 ουν ^G3767 επιχορηγων ^G2023 ^G5723 υμιν ^G5213 το ^G3588 πνευμα ^G4151 και ^G2532 ενεργων ^G1754 ^G5723 δυναμεις ^G1411 εν ^G1722 υμιν ^G5213 εξ ^G1537 εργων ^G2041 νομου ^G3551 η ^G2228 εξ ^G1537 ακοης ^G189 πιστεως ^G4102	5	Does He then,^G3767 who provides^G2023 you with the Spirit^G4151 and works^G1754 miracles^G1411 among^G1722 you, do it by the works^G2041 of the Law,^G3551 or^G2228 by hearing^G189 with faith^G4102?

γινωσκετε ^G1097 ^G5719 ^G1097 ^G5720 αρα ^G686 οτι ^G3754 οι ^G3588 εκ ^G1537 πιστεως ^G4102 ουτοι ^G3778 εισιν ^G1526 ^G5748 υιοι ^G5207 αβρααμ ^G11	7	Therefore,^G686 be sure^G1097 that it is those^G3588 who are of faith^G4102 who^G3778 are sons^G5207 of Abraham.^G11

ωστε ^G5620 οι ^G3588 εκ ^G1537 πιστεως ^G4102 ευλογουνται ^G2127 ^G5743 συν ^G4862 τω ^G3588 πιστω ^G4103 αβρααμ ^G11	9	So^G5620 then^G5620 those^G3588 who are of faith^G4102 are blessed^G2127 with Abraham,^G11 the believer.^G4103
οσοι ^G3745 γαρ ^G1063 εξ ^G1537 εργων ^G2041 νομου ^G3551 εισιν ^G1526 ^G5748 υπο ^G5259 καταραν ^G2671 εισιν ^G1526 ^G5748 γεγραπται ^G1125 ^G5769 γαρ ^G1063 επικαταρατος ^G1944 πας ^G3956 ος ^G3739 ουκ ^G3756 εμμενει ^G1696 ^G5719 εν ^G1722 πασιν ^G3956 τοις ^G3588 γεγραμμενοις ^G1125 ^G5772 εν ^G1722 τω ^G3588 βιβλιω ^G975 του ^G3588 νομου ^G3551 του ^G3588 ποιησαι ^G4160 ^G5658 αυτα ^G846	10	For as many^G3745 as are of the works^G2041 of the Law^G3551 are under^G5259 a curse;^G2671 for it is written,^G1125 "Cursed^G1944 is everyone^G3956 who^G3739 does not abide^G1696 by all^G3956 things^G3956 written^G1125 in the book^G975 of the law,^G3551 to perform^G4160 them."
οτι ^G3754 δε ^G1161 εν ^G1722 νομω ^G3551 ουδεις ^G3762 δικαιουται ^G1344 ^G5743 παρα ^G3844 τω ^G3588 θεω ^G2316 δηλον ^G1212 οτι ^G3754 ο ^G3588 δικαιος ^G1342 εκ ^G1537 πιστεως ^G4102 ζησεται ^G2198 ^G5695	11	Now^G1161 that no^G3762 one^G3762 is justified^G1344 by the Law^G3551 before^G3844 God^G2316 is evident;^G1212 for, "The righteous^G1342 man^G1342 shall live^G2198 by faith.^G4102 "
ο ^G3588 δε ^G1161 νομος ^G3551 ουκ ^G3756 εστιν ^G2076 ^G5748 εκ ^G1537 πιστεως ^G4102 αλλ ^G235 ο ^G3588 ποιησας ^G4160 ^G5660 αυτα ^G846 ανθρωπος ^G444 ζησεται ^G2198 ^G5695 εν ^G1722 αυτοις ^G846	12	However,^G1161 the Law^G3551 is not of faith;^G4102 on the contrary,^G235 "He who practices^G4160 them shall live^G2198 by them."

τουτο ^G5124 δε ^G1161 λεγω ^G3004 ^G5719 διαθηκην ^G1242 προκεκυρωμενην ^G4300 ^G5772 υπο ^G5259 του ^G3588 θεου ^G2316 εις ^G1519 χριστον ^G5547 ο ^G3588 μετα ^G3326 ετη ^G2094 τετρακοσια ^G5071 και ^G2532 τριακοντα ^G5144 γεγονως ^G1096 ^G5756 νομος ^G3551 ουκ ^G3756 ακυροι ^G208 ^G5719 εις ^G1519 το ^G3588 καταργησαι ^G2673 ^G5658 την ^G3588 επαγγελιαν ^G1860	17	What I am saying^G3004 is this:^G3778 the Law,^G3551 which came^G1096 four^G5071 hundred^G5071 and thirty^G5144 years^G2094 later,^G3326 does not invalidate^G208 a covenant^G1242 previously^G4300 ratified^G4300 by God,^G2316 so^G1519 as to nullify^G2673 the promise.^G1860
ει ^G1487 γαρ ^G1063 εκ ^G1537 νομου ^G3551 η ^G3588 κληρονομια ^G2817 ουκετι ^G3765 εξ ^G1537 επαγγελιας ^G1860 τω ^G3588 δε ^G1161 αβρααμ ^G11 δι ^G1223 επαγγελιας ^G1860 κεχαρισται ^G5483 ^G5766 ο ^G3588 θεος ^G2316	18	For if^G1487 the inheritance^G2817 is based^G1537 on law,^G3551 it is no^G3765 longer^G3765 based^G1537 on a promise;^G1860 but God^G2316 has granted^G5483 it to Abraham^G11 by means^G1223 of a promise.^G1860

It was added^G4369 because^G5484 of transgressions,^G3847 having been ordained^G1299 through^G1223 angels^G32 by the agency^G5495 of a mediator,^G3316 until^G891 the seed^G4690 should come^G2064 to whom^G3739 the promise^G1861 had been made.^G1861

ο ^G3588 ουν ^G3767 νομος ^G3551 κατα ^G2596 των ^G3588 επαγγελιων ^G1860 του ^G3588 θεου ^G2316 μη ^G3361 γενοιτο ^G1096 ^G5636 ει ^G1487 γαρ ^G1063 εδοθη ^G1325 ^G5681 νομος ^G3551 ο ^G3588 δυναμενος ^G1410 ^G5740 ζωοποιησαι ^G2227 ^G5658 οντως ^G3689 αν ^G302 εκ ^G1537 νομου ^G3551 ην ^G2258 ^G5713 η ^G3588 δικαιοσυνη ^G1343	21	Is the Law^G3551 then^G3767 contrary^G2596 to the promises^G1860 of God^G2316? May it never^G3361 be! For if^G1487 a law^G3551 had been given^G1325 which was able^G1410 to impart^G2227 life,^G2227 then righteousness^G1343 would indeed^G3689 have been^G1510 based^G1537 on law.^G3551
αλλα ^G235 συνεκλεισεν ^G4788 ^G5656 η ^G3588 γραφη ^G1124 τα ^G3588 παντα ^G3956 υπο ^G5259 αμαρτιαν ^G266 ινα ^G2443 η ^G3588 επαγγελια ^G1860 εκ ^G1537 πιστεως ^G4102 ιησου ^G2424 χριστου ^G5547 δοθη ^G1325 ^G5686 τοις ^G3588 πιστευουσιν ^G4100 ^G5723	22	But the Scripture^G1124 has shut^G4788 up all^G3956 men^G3956 under^G5259 sin,^G266 that the promise^G1860 by faith^G4102 in Jesus^G2424 Christ^G5547 might be given^G1325 to those^G3588 who believe.^G4100
προ ^G4253 του ^G3588 δε ^G1161 ελθειν ^G2064 ^G5629 την ^G3588 πιστιν ^G4102 υπο ^G5259 νομον ^G3551 εφρουρουμεθα ^G5432 ^G5712 συγκεκλεισμενοι ^G4788 ^G5772 εις ^G1519 την ^G3588 μελλουσαν ^G3195 ^G5723 πιστιν ^G4102 αποκαλυφθηναι ^G601 ^G5683	23	But before^G4253 faith^G4102 came,^G2064 we were kept^G5432 in custody^G5432 under^G5259 the law,^G3551 being shut^G4788 up to the faith^G4102 which was later^G3195 to be revealed.^G601

ελθουσης ^G2064 ^G5631 δε ^G1161 της ^G3588 πιστεως ^G4102 ουκετι ^G3765 υπο ^G5259 παιδαγωγον ^G3807 εσμεν ^G2070 ^G5748	25	But now^G1161 that faith^G4102 has come,^G2064 we are no^G3765 longer^G3765 under^G5259 a tutor.^G3807

οσοι ^G3745 γαρ ^G1063 εις ^G1519 χριστον ^G5547 εβαπτισθητε ^G907 ^G5681 χριστον ^G5547 ενεδυσασθε ^G1746 ^G5668	27	For all^G3745 of you who^G3745 were baptized^G907 into Christ^G5547 have clothed^G1746 yourselves with Christ.^G5547

ει ^G1487 δε ^G1161 υμεις ^G5210 χριστου ^G5547 αρα ^G686 του ^G3588 αβρααμ ^G11 σπερμα ^G4690 εστε ^G2075 ^G5748 και ^G2532 κατ ^G2596 επαγγελιαν ^G1860 κληρονομοι ^G2818	29	And if^G1487 you belong to Christ,^G5547 then^G686 you are Abraham's offspring,^G4690 heirs^G2818 according^G2596 to promise.^G1860
