שְׁלַח־^H7971לְךָ֣ אֲנָשִׁ֗ים ^H582 וְיָתֻ֙רוּ֙ ^H8446 אֶת־^H853אֶ֣רֶץ ^H776 כְּנַ֔עַן ^H3667 אֲשֶׁר־^H834אֲנִ֥י ^H589 נֹתֵ֖ן ^H5414 לִבְנֵ֣י ^H1121 יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ^H3478 אִ֣ישׁ ^H376 אֶחָד֩ ^H259 אִ֨ישׁ ^H376 אֶחָ֜ד ^H259 לְמַטֵּ֤ה ^H4294 אֲבֹתָיו֙ ^H1 תִּשְׁלָ֔חוּ ^H7971 כֹּ֖ל ^H3605 נָשִׂ֥יא ^H5387 בָהֶֽם׃	2	"Send^H7971 out for yourself men^H376 so that they may spy^H8446 out the land^H776 of Canaan,^H3667 which^H834 I am going to give^H5414 to the sons^H1121 of Israel;^H3478 you shall send^H7971 a man^H376 from each^H376 ^H259 of their fathers' tribes,^H4294 every^H3605 one^H3605 a leader^H5387 among them." אֵ֚לֶּה ^H428 שְׁמ֣וֹת ^H8034 הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔ים ^H376 אֲשֶׁר־^H834שָׁלַ֥ח ^H7971 מֹשֶׁ֖ה ^H4872 לָת֣וּר ^H8446 אֶת־^H853הָאָ֑רֶץ ^H776 וַיִּקְרָ֥א ^H7121 מֹשֶׁ֛ה ^H4872 לְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ ^H1954 בִּן־^H1121נ֖וּן ^H5126 יְהוֹשֻֽׁעַ׃ ^H3091	16	These^H428 are the names^H8034 of the men^H376 whom^H834 Moses^H4872 sent^H7971 to spy^H8446 out the land;^H776 but Moses^H4872 called^H7121 Hoshea^H1954 the son^H1121 of Nun,^H5126 Joshua.^H3091	ταῦτα^G3778 τὰ^G3588 ὀνόματα^G3686 τῶν^G3588 ἀνδρῶν,^G435 οὓς^G3739 ἀπέστειλεν^G649 Μωυσῆς κατασκέψασθαι τὴν^G3588 γῆν.^G1065 καὶ^G2532 ἐπωνόμασεν^G2028 Μωυσῆς τὸν^G3588 Αυση υἱὸν^G5207 Ναυη Ἰησοῦν.^G2424
וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח ^H7971 אֹתָם֙ ^H853 מֹשֶׁ֔ה ^H4872 לָת֖וּר ^H8446 אֶת־^H853אֶ֣רֶץ ^H776 כְּנָ֑עַן ^H3667 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 אֲלֵהֶ֗ם ^H413 עֲל֥וּ ^H5927 זֶה֙ ^H2088 בַּנֶּ֔גֶב ^H5045 וַעֲלִיתֶ֖ם ^H5927 אֶת־^H853הָהָֽר׃ ^H2022	17	When Moses^H4872 sent^H7971 them to spy^H8446 out the land^H776 of Canaan,^H3667 he said^H559 to them, "Go^H5927 up there^H2088 into the Negev;^H5045 then go^H5927 up into the hill^H2022 country.^H2022	Καὶ^G2532 ἀπέστειλεν^G649 αὐτοὺς^G846 Μωυσῆς κατασκέψασθαι τὴν^G3588 γῆν^G1065 Χανααν^G5477 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G3004 πρὸς^G4314 αὐτούς^G846 Ἀνάβητε^G305 ταύτῃ^G3778 τῇ^G3588 ἐρήμῳ^G2048 καὶ^G2532 ἀναβήσεσθε^G305 εἰς^G1519 τὸ^G3588 ὄρος^G3735
וּרְאִיתֶ֥ם ^H7200 אֶת־^H853הָאָ֖רֶץ ^H776 מַה־^H4100הִ֑וא ^H1931 וְאֶת־^H853הָעָם֙ ^H5971 הַיֹּשֵׁ֣ב ^H3427 עָלֶ֔יהָ ^H5921 הֶחָזָ֥ק ^H2389 הוּא֙ ^H1931 הֲרָפֶ֔ה ^H7504 הַמְעַ֥ט ^H4592 ה֖וּא ^H1931 אִם־^H518רָֽב׃ ^H7227	18	"And see^H7200 what^H4100 the land^H776 is like, and whether the people^H5971 who live^H3427 in it are strong^H2389 [or^H518] weak,^H7504 whether they are few^H4592 or many.^H7227	καὶ^G2532 ὄψεσθε^G3708 τὴν^G3588 γῆν,^G1065 τίς^G5100 ἐστιν,^G1510 καὶ^G2532 τὸν^G3588 λαὸν^G2992 τὸν^G3588 ἐγκαθήμενον ἐπ᾽^G1909 αὐτῆς,^G846 εἰ^G1487 ἰσχυρότερός^G2478 ἐστιν^G1510 ἢ^G2228 ἀσθενής,^G772 εἰ^G1487 ὀλίγοι^G3641 εἰσὶν^G1510 ἢ^G2228 πολλοί·^G4183
וּמָ֣ה ^H4100 הָאָ֗רֶץ ^H776 אֲשֶׁר־^H834הוּא֙ ^H1931 יֹשֵׁ֣ב ^H3427 בָּ֔הּ הֲטוֹבָ֥ה ^H2896 הִ֖וא ^H1931 אִם־^H518רָעָ֑ה ^H7451 וּמָ֣ה ^H4100 הֶֽעָרִ֗ים ^H5892 אֲשֶׁר־^H834הוּא֙ ^H1931 יוֹשֵׁ֣ב ^H3427 בָּהֵ֔נָּה ^H2007 הַבְּמַֽחֲנִ֖ים ^H4264 אִ֥ם ^H518 בְּמִבְצָרִֽים׃ ^H4013	19	"And how^H4100 is the land^H776 in which^H834 they live,^H3427 is it good^H2896 or^H518 bad^H7451? And how^H4100 are the cities^H5892 in which^H834 ^H1992 they live,^H3427 are [they] like [open] camps^H4264 or^H518 with fortifications^H4013?	καὶ^G2532 τίς^G5100 ἡ^G3588 γῆ,^G1065 εἰς^G1519 ἣν^G3739 οὗτοι^G3778 ἐγκάθηνται ἐπ᾽^G1909 αὐτῆς,^G846 εἰ^G1487 καλή^G2570 ἐστιν^G1510 ἢ^G2228 πονηρά·^G4190 καὶ^G2532 τίνες^G5100 αἱ^G3588 πόλεις,^G4172 εἰς^G1519 ἃς^G3739 οὗτοι^G3778 κατοικοῦσιν^G2730 ἐν^G1722 αὐταῖς,^G846 εἰ^G1487 ἐν^G1722 τειχήρεσιν ἢ^G2228 ἐν^G1722 ἀτειχίστοις·
וּמָ֣ה ^H4100 הָ֠אָרֶץ ^H776 הַשְּׁמֵנָ֨ה ^H8082 הִ֜וא ^H1931 אִם־^H518רָזָ֗ה ^H7330 הֲיֵֽשׁ־^H3426בָּ֥הּ עֵץ֙ ^H6086 אִם־^H518אַ֔יִן ^H369 וְהִ֨תְחַזַּקְתֶּ֔ם ^H2388 וּלְקַחְתֶּ֖ם ^H3947 מִפְּרִ֣י ^H6529 הָאָ֑רֶץ ^H776 וְהַ֨יָּמִ֔ים ^H3117 יְמֵ֖י ^H3117 בִּכּוּרֵ֥י ^H1061 עֲנָבִֽים׃ ^H6025	20	"And how^H4100 is the land,^H776 is it fat^H8082 or^H518 lean^H7330? Are there^H3426 trees^H6086 in it or^H518 not? Make^H2388 an effort^H2388 then to get^H3947 some^H4480 of the fruit^H6529 of the land.^H776" Now the time^H3117 was the time^H3117 of the first^H1061 ripe^H1061 grapes.^H6025	καὶ^G2532 τίς^G5100 ἡ^G3588 γῆ,^G1065 εἰ^G1487 πίων^G4095 ἢ^G2228 παρειμένη,^G3935 εἰ^G1487 ἔστιν^G1510 ἐν^G1722 αὐτῇ^G846 δένδρα^G1186 ἢ^G2228 οὔ·^G3364 καὶ^G2532 προσκαρτερήσαντες^G4342 λήμψεσθε^G2983 ἀπὸ^G575 τῶν^G3588 καρπῶν^G2590 τῆς^G3588 γῆς.^G1065 καὶ^G2532 αἱ^G3588 ἡμέραι^G2250 ἡμέραι^G2250 ἔαρος, πρόδρομοι^G4274 σταφυλῆς.^G4718
וַֽיַּעֲל֖וּ ^H5927 וַיָּתֻ֣רוּ ^H8446 אֶת־^H853הָאָ֑רֶץ ^H776 מִמִּדְבַּר־^H4057צִ֥ן ^H6790 עַד־^H5704רְחֹ֖ב ^H7340 לְבֹ֥א ^H935 חֲמָֽת׃ ^H2574	21	So they went^H5927 up and spied^H8446 out the land^H776 from the wilderness^H4057 of Zin^H6790 as far^H5704 as Rehob,^H7340 at Lebo-hamath.	καὶ^G2532 ἀναβάντες^G305 κατεσκέψαντο τὴν^G3588 γῆν^G1065 ἀπὸ^G575 τῆς^G3588 ἐρήμου^G2048 Σιν ἕως^G2193 Ρααβ^G4460 εἰσπορευομένων^G1531 Εφααθ.
וַיַּעֲל֣וּ ^H5927 בַנֶּגֶב֮ ^H5045 וַיָּבֹ֣א ^H935 עַד־^H5704חֶבְרוֹן֒ ^H2275 וְשָׁ֤ם ^H8033 אֲחִימַן֙ ^H289 שֵׁשַׁ֣י ^H8344 וְתַלְמַ֔י ^H8526 יְלִידֵ֖י ^H3211 הָעֲנָ֑ק ^H6061 וְחֶבְר֗וֹן ^H2275 שֶׁ֤בַע ^H7651 שָׁנִים֙ ^H8141 נִבְנְתָ֔ה ^H1129 לִפְנֵ֖י ^H6440 צֹ֥עַן ^H6814 מִצְרָֽיִם׃ ^H4714	22	When they had gone^H5927 up into the Negev,^H5045 they came^H935 to Hebron^H2275 where^H8033 Ahiman,^H289 Sheshai^H8344 and Talmai,^H8526 the descendants^H3211 of Anak^H6061 were. (Now Hebron^H2275 was built^H1129 seven^H7651 years^H8141 before^H6440 Zoan^H6814 in Egypt.^H4714)	καὶ^G2532 ἀνέβησαν^G305 κατὰ^G2596 τὴν^G3588 ἔρημον^G2048 καὶ^G2532 ἦλθον^G2064 ἕως^G2193 Χεβρων, καὶ^G2532 ἐκεῖ^G1563 Αχιμαν καὶ^G2532 Σεσσι καὶ^G2532 Θελαμιν γενεαὶ^G1074 Εναχ· καὶ^G2532 Χεβρων ἑπτὰ^G2033 ἔτεσιν^G2094 ᾠκοδομήθη^G3618 πρὸ^G4253 τοῦ^G3588 Τάνιν Αἰγύπτου.^G125
וַיָּבֹ֜אוּ ^H935 עַד־^H5704נַ֣חַל ^H5158 אֶשְׁכֹּ֗ל ^H812 וַיִּכְרְת֨וּ ^H3772 מִשָּׁ֤ם ^H8033 זְמוֹרָה֙ ^H2156 וְאֶשְׁכּ֤וֹל ^H811 עֲנָבִים֙ ^H6025 אֶחָ֔ד ^H259 וַיִּשָּׂאֻ֥הוּ ^H5375 בַמּ֖וֹט ^H4132 בִּשְׁנָ֑יִם ^H8147 וּמִן־^H4480הָרִמֹּנִ֖ים ^H7416 וּמִן־^H4480הַתְּאֵנִֽים׃ ^H8384	23	Then they came^H935 to the valley^H5158 of Eshcol^H812 and from there^H8033 cut^H3772 down^H3772 a branch^H2156 with a single^H259 cluster^H811 of grapes;^H6025 and they carried^H5375 it on a pole^H4132 between two^H8147 [men,] with some^H4480 of the pomegranates^H7416 and the figs.^H8384	καὶ^G2532 ἤλθοσαν^G2064 ἕως^G2193 Φάραγγος^G5327 βότρυος^G1009 καὶ^G2532 κατεσκέψαντο αὐτήν·^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἔκοψαν^G2875 ἐκεῖθεν^G1564 κλῆμα^G2814 καὶ^G2532 βότρυν^G1009 σταφυλῆς^G4718 ἕνα^G1519 ἐπ᾽^G1909 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἦραν^G142 αὐτὸν^G846 ἐπ᾽^G1909 ἀναφορεῦσιν καὶ^G2532 ἀπὸ^G575 τῶν^G3588 ῥοῶν καὶ^G2532 ἀπὸ^G575 τῶν^G3588 συκῶν.^G4808
לַמָּק֣וֹם ^H4725 הַה֔וּא ^H1931 קָרָ֖א ^H7121 נַ֣חַל ^H5158 אֶשְׁכּ֑וֹל ^H812 עַ֚ל ^H5921 אֹד֣וֹת ^H182 הָֽאֶשְׁכּ֔וֹל ^H811 אֲשֶׁר־^H834כָּרְת֥וּ ^H3772 מִשָּׁ֖ם ^H8033 בְּנֵ֥י ^H1121 יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ^H3478	24	That place^H4725 was called^H7121 the valley^H5158 of Eshcol,^H812 because^H5921 ^H182 of the cluster^H811 which^H834 the sons^H1121 of Israel^H3478 cut^H3772 down^H3772 from there.^H8033	τὸν^G3588 τόπον^G5117 ἐκεῖνον^G1565 ἐπωνόμασαν^G2028 Φάραγξ^G5327 βότρυος^G1009 διὰ^G1223 τὸν^G3588 βότρυν,^G1009 ὃν^G3739 ἔκοψαν^G2875 ἐκεῖθεν^G1564 οἱ^G3588 υἱοὶ^G5207 Ισραηλ.^G2474
וַיָּשֻׁ֖בוּ ^H7725 מִתּ֣וּר ^H8446 הָאָ֑רֶץ ^H776 מִקֵּ֖ץ ^H7093 אַרְבָּעִ֥ים ^H705 יֽוֹם׃ ^H3117	25	When they returned^H7725 from spying^H8446 out the land,^H776 at the end^H7093 of forty^H705 days,^H3117	Καὶ^G2532 ἀπέστρεψαν^G654 ἐκεῖθεν^G1564 κατασκεψάμενοι τὴν^G3588 γῆν^G1065 μετὰ^G3326 τεσσαράκοντα^G5062 ἡμέρας^G2250

וְשָׁ֣ם ^H8033 רָאִ֗ינוּ ^H7200 אֶת־^H853הַנְּפִילִ֛ים ^H5303 בְּנֵ֥י ^H1121 עֲנָ֖ק ^H6061 מִן־^H4480הַנְּפִלִ֑ים ^H5303 וַנְּהִ֤י ^H1961 בְעֵינֵ֙ינוּ֙ ^H5869 כַּֽחֲגָבִ֔ים ^H2284 וְכֵ֥ן ^H3651 הָיִ֖ינוּ ^H1961 בְּעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃ ^H5869	33	"There^H8033 also we saw^H7200 the Nephilim^H5303 (the sons^H1121 of Anak^H6061 are part of the Nephilim^H5303); and we became^H1961 like grasshoppers^H2284 in our own sight,^H5869 and so^H3651 we were in their sight.^H5869"	καὶ^G2532 ἐκεῖ^G1563 ἑωράκαμεν^G3708 τοὺς^G3588 γίγαντας καὶ^G2532 ἦμεν^G1510 ἐνώπιον^G1799 αὐτῶν^G846 ὡσεὶ^G5616 ἀκρίδες,^G200 ἀλλὰ^G235 καὶ^G2532 οὕτως^G3778 ἦμεν^G1510 ἐνώπιον^G1799 αὐτῶν.^G846
