Labour Code - Article 65

passport or other identification document;

an employment record book, unless the employment contract is concluded for the first time or the employee is employed on a part-time basis;

certificate of state pension insurance;

military registration documents - for persons liable for military duty and persons liable for conscription;

educational document, qualification or special knowledge - when applying for a job requiring special knowledge or special training;

a certificate of criminal record (absence) and/or criminal prosecution or termination of criminal prosecution on rehabilitative grounds, issued in accordance with the procedure and in the form established by the federal executive authority responsible for the development and implementation of state policy and normative-legal regulation in the sphere of internal affairs - upon hiring a job related to the activity to which persons are not permitted under this Code or any other federal law to be employed

In some cases, taking into account the specifics of the work, this Code, other federal laws, decrees of the President of the Russian Federation and resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation may provide for the need to present additional documents when concluding an employment contract.
It is prohibited to demand documents from a person who is hired to work, in addition to those stipulated by this Code, by other federal laws, decrees of the President of the Russian Federation and resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation.
When concluding an employment contract for the first time, the employment card and insurance certificate of state pension insurance are issued by the employer.
In case of absence of a work record book of an applicant due to its loss, damage or for any other reason, the employer is obliged to issue a new work record book upon written application of this person (stating the reason for absence of the work record book).
