Gospel story

And the angel said unto them, Fear not; I proclaim to you great joy,
Which will be to all people: for now you were born
In the city of David, the Savior, who is Christ the Lord;
                                  (Luke 2:10-11)

There was a girl in the north of Israel called Maria, she loved a guy named Joseph and they were going to get married. But something extraordinary happened, Mary became pregnant and it was neither from a man, nor from a test tube, nor cloning, or anything else, but direct God's intervention.

Why is it so unusual?
Yes, because no one had to be born before, and God Himself decided to visit the world in such an inconspicuous way.

For Joseph, it was so noticeable that he wanted to leave Mary.
Then the angel came to their defense and explained to Joseph God's plan. Joseph accepted Mary.
Then came the decree of the emperor on the population census. Everyone had to come to his city for a census.

Joseph and Mary went to Bethlehem, because they were of the David family. But they were not alone, so there were difficulties with the overnight stay. So they ended up in the stable, in the animal trough and the Son of God, the Savior of the World, Jesus, who forever changed the course of history, was born.

Despite the inconveniences in the stable, this night was wonderful. Heaven could not hold back the joy and the shepherds who were in the field saw how the angels sang. After that, they found Jesus and worshiped Him.

In the morning they were no longer in the stable, and in the house they received great guests - sages with royal gifts, who presented gold, frankincense and myrrh to the Savior of the world.

So God visited us bringing hope and love to become more accessible and closer for you and me, and for everyone looking for Him.
May God bless you,
Let God bless Russia!

Before time was calculated from something meaningful:

  1. the beginning of the reign of the king,
  2. They said, during such a great storm or famine,
  3. In the last world power, the Roman Empire - from the day of the founding of Rome.
Today time is counted from the birth of Christ, someone calls it the New Era.
Jesus just started the new time, the new Kingdom.
