Author of the translation:Michael Peter (Stone) Engelbrite Messianic Bible is freely distributed without any restrictions. TANAH (Old Testament) of the edition has Hebrew order of the books.The translation is based on the translation into the American Standard Version of the 1901 version, the Greek majority text and the Hebrew Bible "Hebraica Stuttgartensia" with some minor adjustments made because of the alternative readings found in the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint. The translation process included seven editing passes and proofreading for each book.
