神爱世人，甚至将祂的独生子赐给他们，叫一切信入祂的，不至灭亡，反得永远的生命。For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that every one who believes into Him would not perish, but would have eternal life.
17 因为神差祂的儿子到世上来，不是要定世人的罪，乃是要叫世人借祂得救。For God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
