chapter 15 - 7 cups

Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

The connection with the Exodus is openly shown. Before, we saw executions, the defense of His people, the exodus from the earthly kingdom, the promised land.

7 bowls

bowl	⁴²²¹ποτηριον – bowl for drinking, goblet.

This Greek word is used to describe the cup of the evening, can you drink the cup that I drink? The book of Revelation uses a different word.

cup	⁵³⁵⁷φιαλη – Shallow bowl with a wide bottom.

The court will be widely spread on the ground, but not for long.
