I and myself are fluent in English, so I understand the advantages of Esperanto.

In part, the Internet has realized the dream of Esperanto - international communication without borders.
Many online translators help, and the translator from Google is built into Google mail - you can read the translation of the letter directly from the mail .

In short, knowing English today, we have no boundaries. I know English and in practice I do not use Esperanto almost. But ... if you know English.

Why English?

1. The Internet came from USA and is now the leading online English
2. Web Programming is based on the English language, so programmers know English.
3. Domain names can only be written in Latin. You can not use Cyrillic, Chinese alphabet, Japanese, Arabic, Scandinavian, French. Because, as a rule, domain names come up using English. For example, our president's website kremlin.ru. Kremlin is the Kremlin in English.

What's tomorrow?

1. The first Internet English and the first users from the former USSR - IT specialists who speak English.
   It was expected that they will go to the English-speaking Internet, because especially at that time it was incomparably greater. Surprisingly, they went to the Runet.
   I also rarely use English-language services, because they have a very complex structure, and complex descriptions, as in the instructions.
   And I do not have time to study one site, I need to drop by and quickly find out if there is something here that I need.
   So, today the Internet has ceased to be the overwhelming part of English, already quite large - Runet, the Chinese Internet, there is a tendency to the development of the Arab of the Internet.
2. Web programming. Today there is no need to study programming languages. It is much simpler, more reasonable, more functional and more reliable to use the free site management system (CMS):
   1. choose CMS,
   2. we select the pattern of design, we insert our logo, cap, we will slightly correct the style,
   3. add modules and use.
3. The .РФ domain zone has appeared, where you can register names in Cyrillic. In the .EU domain zone, you can now register domains using the alphabets of European languages, including Russian.

That is, practice has shown that not everyone learns English, especially in China and other countries where the native language differs from English.
In our country, too, the vast majority of the population does not know English. Why?
A person is lazy and English is known to those who are easier to learn - the same language group or predisposition to languages.

Here Esperanto can be useful, that's why Esperanto has developed more in China and Hungary (their languages ​​are very different from English).

Personal contacts

If the virtual dating is suitable and the translator, then for personal meetings you need to know the language.
Today it is cheaper to go on vacation abroad than at home.

Esperanto has a network of people who are free to host guests (only the phone and food are paid). You can not use this network without knowing the language.

Esperanto does not exclude English

Unfortunately, as a rule, we are taught ineptly in English.
You go to the courses and you are loaded with grammar.
Completing the course, you do not remember where you started.
Just the active part of the memory is limited.

I first learned Esperanto, which is easy. Then he inserted the grammar of English into the principle of Esperanto grammar.
So it turned out elementary English, which is enough for communication.
After a time when my English became active, he began to develop and build around this foundation.
Then I just read a thick book and had a lot of conversational practice.

Esperanto can be a stepping stone to learning English and other European languages.
