Sukkot - SukkotFeast of Tabernacles, Sukkot (heb. סוכות — tents, huts) The 15th of the month of Tishrei (the seventh month) begins, and seven days go on in remembrance of the wanderings of the Jews in the desert, when they stopped to live in huts. At that time, by tradition, one should leave the house and live in the sukkah (halakh), remembering the wanderings of the Jews in the Sinai desert (Exodus).

New Testament EventsOn Sukkot there are no events of the New Testament. But there are events that we expect, for example, the 1000-year rule of Jesus. No reason to expect the events that took place not on the Jewish holidays. |
