וַיַּעֲשֶׂ֤ה ^H6213 הָרַע֙ ^H7451 בְּעֵינֵ֣י ^H5869 יְהוָ֔ה ^H3068 רַ֕ק ^H7535 לֹ֥א ^H3808 כְאָבִ֖יו ^H1 וּכְאִמּ֑וֹ ^H517 וַיָּ֙סַר֙ ^H5493 אֶת־^H853מַצְּבַ֣ת ^H4676 הַבַּ֔עַל ^H1168 אֲשֶׁ֥ר ^H834 עָשָׂ֖ה ^H6213 אָבִֽיו׃ ^H1	2	And he did^H6213 evil^H7451 in the sight^H5869 of the Lord,^H3068 though^H7534 not like his father and his mother;^H1 for he put^H517 away^H5493 the [sacred] pillar^H5493 of Baal^H4676 which^H1168 his father had made.^H834	καὶ^G2532 ἐποίησεν^G4160 τὸ^G3588 πονηρὸν^G4190 ἐν^G1722 ὀφθαλμοῖς^G3788 κυρίου,^G2962 πλὴν^G4133 οὐχ^G3364 ὡς^G3739 ὁ^G3588 πατὴρ^G3962 αὐτοῦ^G846 καὶ^G2532 οὐχ^G3364 ὡς^G3739 ἡ^G3588 μήτηρ^G3384 αὐτοῦ,^G846 καὶ^G2532 μετέστησεν^G3179 τὰς^G3588 στήλας τοῦ^G3588 Βααλ,^G896 ἃς^G3739 ἐποίησεν^G4160 ὁ^G3588 πατὴρ^G3962 αὐτοῦ·^G846
רַ֠ק ^H7535 בְּחַטֹּ֞אות ^H2403 יָרָבְעָ֧ם ^H3379 בֶּֽן־^H1121נְבָ֛ט ^H5028 אֲשֶׁר־^H834הֶחֱטִ֥יא ^H2398 אֶת־^H853יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל ^H3478 דָּבֵ֑ק ^H1692 לֹא־^H3808סָ֖ר ^H5493 מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ ^H4480 ס	3	Nevertheless,^H7534 he clung^H1692 to the sins^H9128 of Jeroboam^H3379 the son^H1121 of Nebat,^H5028 which^H834 he made Israel^H3478 sin;^H2398 he did not depart^H5493 from them.	πλὴν^G4133 ἐν^G1722 τῇ^G3588 ἁμαρτίᾳ^G266 Ιεροβοαμ υἱοῦ^G5207 Ναβατ, ὃς^G3739 ἐξήμαρτεν τὸν^G3588 Ισραηλ,^G2474 ἐκολλήθη,^G2853 οὐκ^G3364 ἀπέστη^G868 ἀπ᾽^G575 αὐτῆς.^G846
וּמֵישַׁ֥ע ^H4338 מֶֽלֶךְ־^H4428מוֹאָ֖ב ^H4124 הָיָ֣ה ^H1961 נֹקֵ֑ד ^H5349 וְהֵשִׁ֤יב ^H7725 לְמֶֽלֶךְ־^H4428יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ ^H3478 מֵאָה־^H3967אֶ֣לֶף ^H505 כָּרִ֔ים ^H3733 וּמֵ֥אָה ^H3967 אֶ֖לֶף ^H505 אֵילִ֥ים ^H352 צָֽמֶר׃ ^H6785	4	Now Mesha^H4338 king^H4428 of Moab^H4124 was a sheep^H5349 breeder,^H5349 and used to pay^H7725 the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 100,000 lambs^H3733 and the wool^H6785 of 100,000 rams.^H352	Καὶ^G2532 Μωσα βασιλεὺς^G935 Μωαβ^G1096 ἦν^G1510 νωκηδ καὶ^G2532 ἐπέστρεφεν^G1994 τῷ^G3588 βασιλεῖ^G935 Ισραηλ^G2474 ἐν^G1722 τῇ^G3588 ἐπαναστάσει ἑκατὸν^G1540 χιλιάδας^G5505 ἀρνῶν^G704 καὶ^G2532 ἑκατὸν^G1540 χιλιάδας^G5505 κριῶν ἐπὶ^G1909 πόκων.
וַיְהִ֖י ^H1961 כְּמ֣וֹת ^H4194 אַחְאָ֑ב ^H256 וַיִּפְשַׁ֥ע ^H6586 מֶֽלֶךְ־^H4428מוֹאָ֖ב ^H4124 בְּמֶ֥לֶךְ ^H4428 יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ^H3478	5	But it came^H1961 about, when Ahab^H256 died,^H4194 the king^H4428 of Moab^H4124 rebelled^H6586 against the king^H4428 of Israel.^H3478	καὶ^G2532 ἐγένετο^G1096 μετὰ^G3326 τὸ^G3588 ἀποθανεῖν^G599 Αχααβ καὶ^G2532 ἠθέτησεν^G114 βασιλεὺς^G935 Μωαβ^G1096 ἐν^G1722 βασιλεῖ^G935 Ισραηλ.^G2474
וַיֵּצֵ֞א ^H3318 הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ ^H4428 יְהוֹרָ֛ם ^H3088 בַּיּ֥וֹם ^H3117 הַה֖וּא ^H1931 מִשֹּׁמְר֑וֹן ^H8111 וַיִּפְקֹ֖ד ^H6485 אֶת־^H853כָּל־^H3605יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ^H3478	6	And King^H4428 Jehoram^H3088 went^H3318 out of Samaria^H8111 at that time^H3117 and mustered^H6485 all^H3605 Israel.^H3478	καὶ^G2532 ἐξῆλθεν^G1831 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 Ιωραμ^G2496 ἐν^G1722 τῇ^G3588 ἡμέρᾳ^G2250 ἐκείνῃ^G1565 ἐκ^G1537 Σαμαρείας^G4540 καὶ^G2532 ἐπεσκέψατο^G1980 τὸν^G3588 Ισραηλ·^G2474
וַיֵּ֡לֶךְ ^H1980 וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ ^H7971 אֶל־^H413יְהוֹשָׁפָ֨ט ^H3092 מֶֽלֶךְ־^H4428יְהוּדָ֜ה ^H3063 לֵאמֹ֗ר ^H559 מֶ֤לֶךְ ^H4428 מוֹאָב֙ ^H4124 פָּשַׁ֣ע ^H6586 בִּ֔י הֲתֵלֵ֥ךְ ^H1980 אִתִּ֛י ^H854 אֶל־^H413מוֹאָ֖ב ^H4124 לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה ^H4421 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 אֶעֱלֶ֔ה ^H5927 כָּמ֧וֹנִי ^H3644 כָמ֛וֹךָ ^H3644 כְּעַמִּ֥י ^H5971 כְעַמֶּ֖ךָ ^H5971 כְּסוּסַ֥י ^H5483 כְּסוּסֶֽיךָ׃ ^H5483	7	Then he went^H1980 and sent^H7971 [word] to Jehoshaphat^H3092 the king^H4428 of Judah,^H3063 saying,^H559 "The king^H4428 of Moab^H4124 has rebelled^H6586 against me. Will you go^H1980 with me to fight^H4421 against^H413 Moab^H4124?" And he said,^H559 "I will go^H5927 up; I am as you are, my people^H5971 as your people,^H5971 my horses^H5483 as your horses.^H5483"	καὶ^G2532 ἐπορεύθη^G4198 καὶ^G2532 ἐξαπέστειλεν^G1821 πρὸς^G4314 Ιωσαφατ^G2498 βασιλέα^G935 Ιουδα^G2448 λέγων^G3004 Βασιλεὺς^G935 Μωαβ^G1096 ἠθέτησεν^G114 ἐν^G1722 ἐμοί·^G1473 εἰ^G1487 πορεύσῃ^G4198 μετ᾽^G3326 ἐμοῦ^G1473 εἰς^G1519 Μωαβ^G1096 εἰς^G1519 πόλεμον;^G4171 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ἀναβήσομαι·^G305 ὅμοιός^G3664 μοι^G1473 ὅμοιός^G3664 σοι,^G4771 ὡς^G3739 ὁ^G3588 λαός^G2992 μου^G1473 ὁ^G3588 λαός^G2992 σου,^G4771 ὡς^G3739 οἱ^G3588 ἵπποι^G2462 μου^G1473 οἱ^G3588 ἵπποι^G2462 σου.^G4771
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר ^H559 אֵי־^H335זֶ֥ה ^H2088 הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ ^H1870 נַעֲלֶ֑ה ^H5927 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר ^H559 דֶּ֖רֶךְ ^H1870 מִדְבַּ֥ר ^H4057 אֱדֽוֹם׃ ^H123	8	And he said,^H559 "Which^H335 ^H2088 way^H1870 shall we go^H5927 up?" And he answered,^H559 "The way^H1870 of the wilderness^H4057 of Edom.^H9000"	καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ποίᾳ^G4169 ὁδῷ^G3598 ἀναβῶ;^G305 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ὁδὸν^G3598 ἔρημον^G2048 Εδωμ.
וַיֵּלֶךְ֩ ^H1980 מֶ֨לֶךְ ^H4428 יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל ^H3478 וּמֶֽלֶך־^H4428יְהוּדָה֙ ^H3063 וּמֶ֣לֶךְ ^H4428 אֱד֔וֹם ^H123 וַיָּסֹ֕בּוּ ^H5437 דֶּ֖רֶךְ ^H1870 שִׁבְעַ֣ת ^H7651 יָמִ֑ים ^H3117 וְלֹא־^H3808הָיָ֨ה ^H1961 מַ֧יִם ^H4325 לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֛ה ^H4264 וְלַבְּהֵמָ֖ה ^H929 אֲשֶׁ֥ר ^H834 בְּרַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃ ^H7272	9	So the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 went^H1980 with the king^H4428 of Judah^H3063 and the king^H4428 of Edom;^H9000 and they made^H5437 a circuit^H5437 of seven^H7651 days' journey,^H1870 and there was no^H3808 water^H4325 for the army^H4264 or for the cattle^H929 that followed^H7272 them.	καὶ^G2532 ἐπορεύθη^G4198 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 Ισραηλ^G2474 καὶ^G2532 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 Ιουδα^G2448 καὶ^G2532 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 Εδωμ καὶ^G2532 ἐκύκλωσαν^G2944 ὁδὸν^G3598 ἑπτὰ^G2033 ἡμερῶν,^G2250 καὶ^G2532 οὐκ^G3364 ἦν^G1510 ὕδωρ^G5204 τῇ^G3588 παρεμβολῇ^G3925 καὶ^G2532 τοῖς^G3588 κτήνεσιν^G2934 τοῖς^G3588 ἐν^G1722 τοῖς^G3588 ποσὶν^G4228 αὐτῶν.^G846
וַיֹּ֖אמֶר ^H559 מֶ֣לֶךְ ^H4428 יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל ^H3478 אֲהָ֕הּ ^H162 כִּֽי־^H3588קָרָ֣א ^H7121 יְהוָ֗ה ^H3069 לִשְׁלֹ֙שֶׁת֙ ^H7969 הַמְּלָכִ֣ים ^H4428 הָאֵ֔לֶּה ^H428 לָתֵ֥ת ^H5414 אוֹתָ֖ם ^H853 בְּיַד־^H3027מוֹאָֽב׃ ^H4124	10	Then the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 said,^H559 "Alas!^H162 For the Lord^H3068 has called^H7121 these^H428 three^H7969 kings^H4428 to give^H5414 them into the hand^H3027 of Moab.^H4124"	καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 Ισραηλ^G2474 Ὦ^G3588 ὅτι^G3754 κέκληκεν^G2564 κύριος^G2962 τοὺς^G3588 τρεῖς^G5140 βασιλεῖς^G935 παρερχομένους^G3928 δοῦναι^G1325 αὐτοὺς^G846 ἐν^G1722 χειρὶ^G5495 Μωαβ.^G1096
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 יְהוֹשָׁפָ֗ט ^H3092 הַאֵ֨ין ^H369 פֹּ֤ה ^H6311 נָבִיא֙ ^H5030 לַֽיהוָ֔ה ^H3068 וְנִדְרְשָׁ֥ה ^H1875 אֶת־^H853יְהוָ֖ה ^H3068 מֵאוֹת֑וֹ ^H854 וַ֠יַּעַן ^H6030 אֶחָ֞ד ^H259 מֵעַבְדֵ֤י ^H5650 מֶֽלֶךְ־^H4428יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ ^H3478 וַיֹּ֔אמֶר ^H559 פֹּ֚ה ^H6311 אֱלִישָׁ֣ע ^H477 בֶּן־^H1121שָׁפָ֔ט ^H8202 אֲשֶׁר־^H834יָ֥צַק ^H3332 מַ֖יִם ^H4325 עַל־^H5921יְדֵ֥י ^H3027 אֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃ ^H452	11	But Jehoshaphat^H3092 said,^H559 "Is there^H369 not a prophet^H5030 of the Lord^H3068 here,^H6311 that we may inquire^H1875 of the Lord^H3068 by him?" And one^H259 of the king^H4428 of Israel's servants^H5650 answered^H6030 and said,^H559 "Elisha^H477 the son^H1121 of Shaphat^H8202 is here,^H6311 who^H834 used to pour^H3332 water^H4325 on the hands^H3027 of Elijah.^H452"	καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ιωσαφατ^G2498 Οὐκ^G3364 ἔστιν^G1510 ὧδε^G3592 προφήτης^G4396 τοῦ^G3588 κυρίου^G2962 καὶ^G2532 ἐπιζητήσωμεν^G1934 τὸν^G3588 κύριον^G2962 παρ᾽^G3844 αὐτοῦ;^G846 καὶ^G2532 ἀπεκρίθη^G611 εἷς^G1519 τῶν^G3588 παίδων^G3816 βασιλέως^G935 Ισραηλ^G2474 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ὧδε^G3592 Ελισαιε υἱὸς^G5207 Σαφατ, ὃς^G3739 ἐπέχεεν^G2022 ὕδωρ^G5204 ἐπὶ^G1909 χεῖρας^G5495 Ηλιου.^G2243
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ ^H559 יְה֣וֹשָׁפָ֔ט ^H3092 יֵ֥שׁ ^H3426 אוֹת֖וֹ ^H854 דְּבַר־^H1697יְהוָ֑ה ^H3068 וַיֵּרְד֣וּ ^H3381 אֵלָ֗יו ^H413 מֶ֧לֶךְ ^H4428 יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל ^H3478 וִיהוֹשָׁפָ֖ט ^H3092 וּמֶ֥לֶךְ ^H4428 אֱדֽוֹם׃ ^H123	12	And Jehoshaphat^H3092 said,^H559 "The word^H1697 of the Lord^H3068 is with him." So the king^H4428 of Israel^H3478 and Jehoshaphat^H3092 and the king^H4428 of Edom^H9000 went^H3381 down^H3381 to him.	καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ιωσαφατ^G2498 Ἔστιν^G1510 αὐτῷ^G846 ῥῆμα^G4487 κυρίου.^G2962 καὶ^G2532 κατέβη^G2597 πρὸς^G4314 αὐτὸν^G846 βασιλεὺς^G935 Ισραηλ^G2474 καὶ^G2532 Ιωσαφατ^G2498 βασιλεὺς^G935 Ιουδα^G2448 καὶ^G2532 βασιλεὺς^G935 Εδωμ.
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר ^H559 אֱלִישָׁ֜ע ^H477 אֶל־^H413מֶ֤לֶךְ ^H4428 יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ ^H3478 מַה־^H4100לִּ֣י וָלָ֔ךְ לֵ֚ךְ ^H1980 אֶל־^H413נְבִיאֵ֣י ^H5030 אָבִ֔יךָ ^H1 וְאֶל־^H413נְבִיאֵ֖י ^H5030 אִמֶּ֑ךָ ^H517 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר ^H559 לוֹ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ ^H4428 יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל ^H3478 אַ֗ל ^H408 כִּֽי־^H3588קָרָ֤א ^H7121 יְהוָה֙ ^H3068 לִשְׁלֹ֙שֶׁת֙ ^H7969 הַמְּלָכִ֣ים ^H4428 הָאֵ֔לֶּה ^H428 לָתֵ֥ת ^H5414 אוֹתָ֖ם ^H853 בְּיַד־^H3027מוֹאָֽב׃ ^H4124	13	Now Elisha^H477 said^H559 to the king^H4428 of Israel,^H3478 "What^H4100 do I have to do with you? Go^H1980 to the prophets^H5030 of your father and to the prophets^H1 of your mother.^H5030" And the king^H517 of Israel^H4428 said^H3478 to him, "No,^H559 for the Lord^H408 has called^H3068 these^H7121 three^H428 kings^H7969 [together] to give^H4428 them into the hand^H5414 of Moab.^H3027"	καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ελισαιε πρὸς^G4314 βασιλέα^G935 Ισραηλ^G2474 Τί^G5100 ἐμοὶ^G1473 καὶ^G2532 σοί;^G4771 δεῦρο^G1204 πρὸς^G4314 τοὺς^G3588 προφήτας^G4396 τοῦ^G3588 πατρός^G3962 σου.^G4771 καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 αὐτῷ^G846 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 Ισραηλ^G2474 Μή,^G3165 ὅτι^G3754 κέκληκεν^G2564 κύριος^G2962 τοὺς^G3588 τρεῖς^G5140 βασιλεῖς^G935 τοῦ^G3588 παραδοῦναι^G3860 αὐτοὺς^G846 εἰς^G1519 χεῖρας^G5495 Μωαβ.^G1096
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ^H559 אֱלִישָׁ֗ע ^H477 חַי־^H2416יְהוָ֤ה ^H3068 צְבָאוֹת֙ ^H6635 אֲשֶׁ֣ר ^H834 עָמַ֣דְתִּי ^H5975 לְפָנָ֔יו ^H6440 כִּ֗י ^H3588 לוּלֵ֛י ^H3884 פְּנֵ֛י ^H6440 יְהוֹשָׁפָ֥ט ^H3092 מֶֽלֶךְ־^H4428יְהוּדָ֖ה ^H3063 אֲנִ֣י ^H589 נֹשֵׂ֑א ^H5375 אִם־^H518אַבִּ֥יט ^H5027 אֵלֶ֖יךָ ^H413 וְאִם־^H518אֶרְאֶֽךָּ׃ ^H7200	14	And Elisha^H477 said,^H559 "As the Lord^H3068 of hosts^H6635 lives,^H2416 before^H6440 whom^H834 I stand,^H5975 were it not that I regard^H5375 the presence^H6440 of Jehoshaphat^H3092 the king^H4428 of Judah,^H3063 I would not look^H5027 at you nor^H518 see^H7200 you.	καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G2036 Ελισαιε Ζῇ^G2198 κύριος^G2962 τῶν^G3588 δυνάμεων,^G1411 ᾧ^G3739 παρέστην^G3936 ἐνώπιον^G1799 αὐτοῦ,^G846 ὅτι^G3754 εἰ^G1487 μὴ^G3165 πρόσωπον^G4383 Ιωσαφατ^G2498 βασιλέως^G935 Ιουδα^G2448 ἐγὼ^G1473 λαμβάνω,^G2983 εἰ^G1487 ἐπέβλεψα^G1914 πρὸς^G4314 σὲ^G4771 καὶ^G2532 εἶδόν^G3708 σε·^G4771
וְעַתָּ֖ה ^H6258 קְחוּ־^H3947לִ֣י מְנַגֵּ֑ן ^H5059 וְהָיָה֙ ^H1961 כְּנַגֵּ֣ן ^H5059 הַֽמְנַגֵּ֔ן ^H5059 וַתְּהִ֥י ^H1961 עָלָ֖יו ^H5921 יַד־^H3027יְהוָֽה׃ ^H3068	15	"But now^H6258 bring^H3947 me a minstrel.^H5059" And it came^H1961 about, when the minstrel^H5059 played,^H5059 that the hand^H3027 of the Lord^H3068 came^H1961 upon him.	καὶ^G2532 νυνὶ^G3570 δὲ^G1161 λαβέ^G2983 μοι^G1473 ψάλλοντα.^G5567 καὶ^G2532 ἐγένετο^G1096 ὡς^G3739 ἔψαλλεν^G5567 ὁ^G3588 ψάλλων,^G5567 καὶ^G2532 ἐγένετο^G1096 ἐπ᾽^G1909 αὐτὸν^G846 χεὶρ^G5495 κυρίου,^G2962
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר ^H559 כֹּ֖ה ^H3541 אָמַ֣ר ^H559 יְהוָ֑ה ^H3068 עָשֹׂ֛ה ^H6213 הַנַּ֥חַל ^H5158 הַזֶּ֖ה ^H2088 גֵּבִ֥ים ^H1356 ׀ גֵּבִֽים׃ ^H1356	16	And he said,^H559 "Thus^H3541 says^H559 the Lord,^H3068 'Make^H6213 this^H2088 valley^H5158 full^H1356 of trenches.^H1356'	καὶ^G2532 εἶπεν^G3004 Τάδε^G3592 λέγει^G3004 κύριος^G2962 Ποιήσατε^G4160 τὸν^G3588 χειμάρρουν^G5493 τοῦτον^G3778 βοθύνους^G999 βοθύνους·^G999

וַיַּרְא֙ ^H7200 מֶ֣לֶךְ ^H4428 מוֹאָ֔ב ^H4124 כִּֽי־^H3588חָזַ֥ק ^H2388 מִמֶּ֖נּוּ ^H4480 הַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה ^H4421 וַיִּקַּ֣ח ^H3947 א֠וֹתוֹ ^H854 שְׁבַע־^H7651מֵא֨וֹת ^H3967 אִ֜ישׁ ^H376 שֹׁ֣לֵֽף ^H8025 חֶ֗רֶב ^H2719 לְהַבְקִ֛יעַ ^H1234 אֶל־^H413מֶ֥לֶךְ ^H4428 אֱד֖וֹם ^H123 וְלֹ֥א ^H3808 יָכֹֽלוּ׃ ^H3201	26	When the king^H4428 of Moab^H4124 saw^H7200 that the battle^H4421 was too^H4480 fierce^H2388 for him, he took^H3947 with him^H700 men^H376 who drew^H8025 swords,^H2719 to break^H1234 through^H1234 to the king^H4428 of Edom;^H9000 but they could^H3201 not.	καὶ^G2532 εἶδεν^G3708 ὁ^G3588 βασιλεὺς^G935 Μωαβ^G1096 ὅτι^G3754 ἐκραταίωσεν^G2901 ὑπὲρ^G5228 αὐτὸν^G846 ὁ^G3588 πόλεμος,^G4171 καὶ^G2532 ἔλαβεν^G2983 μεθ᾽^G3326 ἑαυτοῦ^G1438 ἑπτακοσίους ἄνδρας^G435 ἐσπασμένους^G4685 ῥομφαίαν^G4501 διακόψαι πρὸς^G4314 βασιλέα^G935 Εδωμ, καὶ^G2532 οὐκ^G3364 ἠδυνήθησαν.^G1410
