Author of the translation:David Harold Stern The traditional translations of the New Testament are Christian and they lost the atmosphere of that Jewish society in which Jesus (actually Jeshua) lived and served. And all the names here are Jewish, as they are used in Israel today.But ... it's still not a translation, but a paraphrase (a somewhat free translation), for simplicity of understanding. Therefore, even many Jews prefer to read the classical translations of the Bible to this. Personally, I was curious to read it, but I could not work with it.
